why did you spend that much money when you are just going to do a port job anyway? Seems like you could have gotten away alot cheaper if you had bought some used heads and did the same thing.

For me, I'm building a forced induction motor and the decks are a lot thicker on the AFR heads which will help a lot. Also, you have more control over the compression ratio that you can have by being able to choose the CC of the combustion chambers. Also, you get a much better port job by going with the unported heads.
