Went through 5 pages of TB threads, people mention these a few times, but no reviews. Just making sure they are of good quality and are actually done well for those who have bought them.

And being an A4, is it true my shift points will be messed up until I get a tune?

 

Yes they are. I bought the 52mm version a while back and it worked great.

 

Why would your shift points be messed up from a throttle body?

You can get the summit barnd 58mm for like $20 more

 

Shift points at part throttle are a little off with a bigger TB. The TPS does not compensate for the additional air coming in b/c of the bigger blades is the way I understand it.

I think 58MM is overkill for me, even with a bigger cam and RR's in the future.

 

Still running the 52mm I bought from them.
