thermostat gasket?

hey guys, i just got a hypertech 160* stat, and before bolting it in, do i need a thermostat housing gasket? if so, i plan so go back to the autozone to get this . why would they not include this in the stat package if i need it?

The "gasket" is already on the t-stat. Just drop it in

The water neck and the top of the water pump are precision machined (no sly comments, please ). The only gasket is the o-ring that is on the thermostat as Slo noted.
