Is there differences from a 93 lt1 and a 95 lt1 ?

I have a 1995 z28 camaro I bought a 1993 lt1 i put it in the car and hooked up everything on the wiring harness that I could find a place for as in the sensors and stuff I also deleted the ac and pollution stuff coming out of my manifolds but there is some stuff that seems like it’s different from my harness that I don’t have the right plug for for it to plug in like the the iac plau in has a 4 prong plug in that I don’t have on my harness my question is is there More stuff I haven’t ran into yet that is going to be different and how do I get around them if there is and how do I get around the iac? A different throttle body mabye or could I just chance out the iac for one for a 95 any help or tips is appreciated

The 1995 PCM requires an MAF sensor. Did you reuse MAF sensor from your 95? 93 runs speed-density, so no MAF.

Did you reuse your 95 throttle body? The 95 harness does not match the connector on the 93 IAC motor

95 has heated O2 sensors, 93 does not. Use 95 4-wire sensors.

Best thing to do is reuse your complete 95 throttle body, intake manifold and fuel rails. Puts the fuel connections on the correct side, and the 95 rails are designed for 95 sequential injection. 93 is batch fire.

Reuse your 95 24#/hr injectors. 93 are only 22#/hr.

When I got the car it didn’t have a motor so I don’t have the 95 parts to reuse so to try and clarify what your saying is to get it to work correctly I will have to buy a 95 throttle body intake manifold fuel rails injectors 4 wire o2 sensors and a maf sensor or if one requires a maf sensor and one doesn’t how would I get around that ?

Would have been good to know your 95 didn’t have an engine up front.

Throttle body - you can keep the 93 throttle body.

IAC - you either have to put a 93 connector on you harness in place of the 95 connector. Or, get a new (or salvage) 94-97 bottom plate for the throttle body. That would include the correct IAC to match your 95 harness.

MAF - you have to buy a new (or salvage) 94-97 MAF sensor.

Intake manifold/fuel rails - if you don’t mind ghetto rigging the fuel supply and return lines, and don’t want to put the correct injectors in the 93 engine, you could 1) run it with the A/F ratio off by 5% and hope the PCM can correct for it using the log term fuel corrections - not recommended; or 2) buy 8 new (or salvage) correct 24#/hr injectors -recommended; or 3) run the 93 22#/hr injectors and have the PCM programmed for the smaller injectors - up to you. The rails may not give perfect uniform fuel distribution to the 95 PCM sequentially fired injectors. That's really an unknown. On the other hand, I've seen 94-97 intakes, fuel rails, and injectors for sale on this site's “parts for sale” section.

O2 sensors - strongly recommend you buy two AC Delco 4-wire heated O2 sensors. Driver side goes in the base of the exhaust manifold, passenger side goes in the y-pipe.

Were you able to connect the 95 oil pressure harness (sensor located on top/rear of block) to the 93 oil pressure sensor located above the oil filter?

Optispark distributor - the 93 Opti requires a short connector, the 95 Opti requires a long connector. This is a short section of harness that starts at a gray 4-pin connector on a bracket on the passenger side of the intake manifold and runs to the Opti. Use that section of the harness from the 93 engine, in they included that. If not, you will have to buy a new Opti harness with the shorter Opti connector.

Use the labeled, clickable 1995 harness photo from Shoebox to make sure you have connected everything required, or come back with specific questions on things that don't connect.

You are getting the absolute best advice from a real expert on this car.. Pay close attention to Fred and you will learn volumes about it... if indeed that is your goal.
