The coil wire is different at the coil end, most kits will just include both styles of coil wire. At least this is the case for the b-body can't see it being much different on your cars.

They are totally different AC-Delco part numbers. Aside from the boot that 96capricemgr mentioned, I think they changed the makeup of the wires. I know there is a big difference in the price of the two stock wire sets. Aftermarket sets are basically universal for 93-97 (usually including both type coil wires as already mentioned).
