Is there any clearence/grinding needed for double roller install?

Is there any clearence/grinding needed for double roller install?

I have a 96 LT1 with the meziere. The timing set is bolted up and looks OK. BUT, the Cam thrust plate bolt seems REALLY close to the timing gear. Is there anything special I need to do?
