Thanks

I'm fairly new to this site and so far I love it. I just wanted to say thanks to all of the people who share their knowledge here, especially on this particular forum. I feel a little bad about not having much knowledge, maybe except for appearance mods, to give back. However, a big thanks to the camaro smart guys, gals, and moderators on this site- you are all appreciated!

Like the internet there is a ton of infomation here. Some good some not as good. I like that we have those guys who really know there stuff and will step in when needed.

You should read through posts, find someone with a setup or goal similar to yours and use them as your mentor. I have a few and so when I have a question I really need help with I will PM them. The best part about it is, the guy who really know there stuff, they always remember that they didnt used to know it all and are really glad to help.

Welcome to the board, this is a place that you can become as knowledgable as you want to cause its all been covered at least twice.

Agree 110%. My thanks too... I've fixed, updated etc lots of stuff on my car thanks to the guys on this site.

Best of all tho (IMO) is that fact that I'm not worried about working on stuff on my car anymore, 'cause I know that if I go about it methodically I can always get help on here.

Thanks again guys..

JT

It is a great site, helped me with my car quite a bit. And there are way to many people that helped and didn't even know it, when it came time for me to pick my parts. So I will just say, thank you to all. PS, the car should be even quicker this year, although I don't post ET's.

I think you already have an idea. But after this years results, and depending on overtime, it might have to wait untill next year. Unless someone can help me out for a reasonable price. Hint, hint.

Did you end up buying that nitrous kit from the local member?

This site has saved my butt so many times. It also saves me money because now I do the stuff that I was intimidated to do before. This past winter I put a cam and rockers in my motor while it was out. I learned a ton doing that. Now I am learning more as I have to fix the head gaskets I should have fixed while the motor was out. I come to this site every step of the way and research what I am doing. My wife thinks I spend too much time on here and in the garage. She just doesn't understand!!

here is one point of advice I will give you: put shoebox's site in your favorites, you'll need it alot. Also when you see something that you think you will need with your swap print it and save that stuff so you don't have to come search for it again.

good luck
Brandon
p.s. I sold you the ps pump!

Yep, that' exactly what I've been doing. I reference shoebox's site on a daily basis and when I am finished and have a little extra cash, I'll for sure be donating to his cause.
