Thank God Its not the Opti

Ok paid Chevy dealer to check out my missing and hesitation problem and it's not the Opti. They say it's 3 burnt plug wires and a tear in the large hose between the MAF and TB. They charged me $80. and wanted $550. for new wires so I took it home. OK I should change the plugs if I change the wires. Can someone send me detailed instructions on how to do this procedure? THANKS

if u have the stock manifolds it can be a real pain actually I hear some people w/ long tubes have trouble too. I hear that special spark plug socket they have all over ebay makes it a lot easier. I would check that out if you decide to do the plugs. It's been a while but I think the hardest one to get is the #2, i think that's the one behind the alternater. Remove the alt 1st makes it a lot easier when i did it I had so many extentions and swivels on that I snapped the plug in half. Good luck it took me a whole afternoon but that was my first time to work on any car period, what a job to start on!

Just ordered the Thunder Racing OTVC setup and TR 55's. Now I have contacted a local Corvette shop who will do the job for $200. so I guess that is my answer.

first time i did plugs and wires it took me 3 days

the second time it took me 3 hours

but both times i needed help from either my friend or my sister who bith have hands and arms considerably smaller than mine.

they go to their shoulder as far as i could get my forearm

so being skinny helps too,
