Angry Tensioner real Stiff

I needed to take off my belt, and it seemed like my tensioner was EXTREMELY tight and damn near impossible to move. Has this ever happened to anyone? Should I look into getting a new one?

It should be tight, and the pulley should spin freely

You might want to take it off and check it out.Mine did the same thing. The spring was on 2 pieces. It was tight but when you rev the motor the tensioner would move and then my belt would be loose. It should be spring loaded.
