Electric water pump fuse holder melted which created an open circuit to the pump. I saw the "Check Gauges" light come on, saw the the temp maxed, immediately turned off the engine. So how hot did it get to set off the "Check Gauges" light? 260F ?

 

I have not seen the temp specified. May be anything in the red zone.

 

To bad it can't be set by the PCM to come on sooner.
