temp gauge ?

temp gauge ?

the temp gauge in my dash is stuck at below 160. im thinking the sensor is shot? or is it the actual gauge?

could be either! the sender's are fairly cheap.. Pick one up and replace it.. if it still no work.. its the dash! or somthing in between...

I had the wire from my sender fall onto one of my headers. It made the wire a little crispy so every now and then the gauge will go nuts. It's one of the things I keep saying I'm going to fix, but never have.

where would that wire be? pass side by the headers??

Guage sender is on drivers side between #1and #3 cylinder, in the head..
