I will start of by tell you want I have and what I am planning on doing and hopefull you guys can tell me what I need.
I have a 96 TA with a CC306 cam, comp R lifters, hardeded push rods, 1.6 CC roller rockers, and matching valve springs, im on stock heads and intake mainafold, I have the ram air set up, hooker longtubes, 3 inch y pipe no cats, hooker muffler and 4.10 gears.
I want to do the heads and either A: supercharger B: turbo or C: a 150 wet shot.
Now what I need to know is what I need to do to the lower end to make it stay with the top end. Do I need a full forged lower end including crank, rods, and pistions? Do I need forged rods and pistions? Or do I need just forged pistions. I was thinking of having it bored out to a 355. to do this..what do you guyys think I need to do...I am on a tight budget...I also dynoed 353 RWHP and 343 RWT...Where can i get the parts you suggest and a part number would be helpful..agian remeber im on a budget and I need your help.
