driving to work I thought I heard a slight exhaust leak, well I'm driving home and give it some gas and all of a sudden I'm driving a harley, car got loud as hell. Oil PSi was perfect, car was running great. I dont think my cars motor would let go, it only has 69K miles on it that and its loud as hell.

Did the car just die? Or does it still run, but run very loud (harley sounding).

If you're car is still running and has oil pressure the motor is probably fine.

Car got me home, did not die or evern act like it wanted to, doesnt shake, but it sounds loud as hell. I didnt get on it but it ran fine, oil presure looked great and just drove it up the drive way, no issues. Its just so loud it nuts, sounds like a mix between a ahrley, crappy lawn mower and a helicopter.

did your muffler fall off?

Dang, dude. You really need to get out and track down where the noise is coming from, lol.

Loud mouth, still intact, my flow mater did break once back in the day, the car actually sounded 20x better, its also comming from the passenger side head area and Rob your words of suport just warm my heart

probaby had a exhaust gasket blow or something of that nature.

Thats what I;m thinking, the engine doesnt seem louder, the exhaust does though.

sounds like it is probably an exhaust manifold gasket.

I'll check it out today, hopefully I get my Blazer back today from the dealer, out all the crappy lucky

Time for a header install

LOL, I have a set of coated Hooker Long Tubes, ARP 12 Point Bolts, Fel Pro 1406 Gaskets, complete Thunder Over the valve cover kit, new poly motor mounts and soon almost all the other crap to do long tubes which I was planning on doing in May, now I have to, guess the car wants long tubes and this was its way of letting me know.
