I just wanted to let you all know how dis-satisfied i was with my experience with TCI's customer service, here's the story: I bought a reverse pattern manual valve body with a trans brake for a my TH 350 from Jeg's Magazine. I received the valve body, took it to my tranny builder and a couple days later he said i was missing the package with the 17 clutch drum springs. I called TCI on a monday nov 10th, said they were missing and they were supposed to 2 day ship them to me. thursday came around, no springs. Called TCI and they sent the springs to another Chad Barton in ohio....ok, mistakes happen, so i asked them to overnight them to me so i can get them by the weekend and get my tranny done. TCI said that they will not pay for the overnight shipping....i thought this was wrong, but i went ahead and paid the shipping. NO SPRINGS UNTIL MONDAY the 17th. At least i got them, right?? no. they sent me 10 springs instead of 17. I call them AGAIN monday morn, told them to overnight them to me, adn i finally received the other 7 springs on weds. I called customer service about this and said i would like to get my money back for the shipping, its not much(about 12 bucks), but its the whole point that this ordeal went on for a 1 1/2 weeks, AND the springs should've been in the kit in the first place! Jerry at TCI said that he thought it was fair that they paid for overnight the 2nd time and i paid it the first time...they werent going to refund my money. I told him that i was going to tell everyone i know about my experience with TCI and he said "That's Cool". WAy to make the customer happy, right? Like I said, not a big deal, but this goes to show me that they dont appreciate the $500 I spend on tranny parts through them, and they wont buck up to their mistakes and refund a customer 12 freakin dollars to make me happy. I'm sure there are hundreds of people who have had good experiences with TCI, but Just be careful when ordering warranty parts or something and expect to get fair, prompt customer service. thanks for the time
