tb-intake port help

Question tb-intake port help

i bought a 58 mm tb and was gonna port the two holes on intake to match bigger gasket for the 58mm. i useualy use stones in my drimel tool. what other ways could i do it that grinding stones? thanks

a burr for alluminum should work the best.

Hopefully you're not going to be porting the manifold on the car without taking some extreme precautions.

You can do it on the car. put some rags in their. Even if the aluminum metal flakes get sucked into your chamber they will burn right up. Even if the small impossibility they dont burn who cares they will go right through your motor and out the exhaust

Think im nuts? Ive seen small rock pebbles deliberately placed down a running motor at mid rpm and watched fly them out the exhaust.

no i wouldnt do it with the intake on the car. i have it off. butwhere can a find a carbide burr?

Just about anywhere really. I use www.mcmastercarr.com. I have also done it with a coarse 1" sanding drum; it makes for a rounder hole.
