TB coolant bypass question

Do you need to cap off the coolant lines coming off of the TB? I see all the kits seem to come with these. Are they necessary? I already bypassed it and the lines are open that come out of the TB and wondering if this would cause any problems.

Thanks

"Do no Harm," I always say...why damage the part when you don't have to, esp. if you someday want to sell the car.
