had to go out and buy 3 7/16 screws with nuts to go along with it then when i got home i found out that the bolt heads were to small and had to use wrenches i had laying around to hold the bolts from falling through finally got it out thanks for all the help anthony

Since you've got the hub and opti off you should just take the timing cover off and you can use a chisel and tap them out from behind. That's the easiest way. Not sure of the best way to do it in the car.
Looks like you need a sleeve to go over that hub to fix that groove that the seal created. I had to take my hub off three times to figure out where the leak was coming from and it wasnt the seal that i had to replace it was that minuet little groove. My opti also needs to be replaced cause theres a groove on that too.
There is a special tool for pulling the front seals. It has a long handle and 2 curved talon-like hooks on it. Autozone carries them. If you don't need to pull the front cover, don't. Otherwise you have to drop the oil pan enough to pull it off.
