take a look, cant decide on suspension or hood

the hood is the 01 WS6 ram air hood for a 94 Z (pic at site below)
http://www.carhoods.com/WhereTheWildRidesBegin.htm

or suspension package from VBP (scroll down on the site it says 93-02 Fbody)

...hood bc im feening that hood, but i still want suspension bc my cars handling feels horrible, the shocks are shot, feels like drivin a 1991 toyota 22re truck...feels like its goin to turn over 1/2 the time, any way, also wondering what i should be askin for 4 good 1994 Z28 wheels w/ tires (basicly bald though) and the stock hood on my car (1994 Z hood) in great shape

I think it depends what you want. The hood will be for looks and the suspension for performance.

I would go for the suspension because i love to carve corners and i think these cars handle rather poorly in stock form for a sports /muscle car - especially if your shocks are worn out.

good luck!

I would go with the suspension. I rank performance ahead of appearance--a car may look bad-***, but if the mods aren't there to back it up it's kind of a joke.

Also, remember that you can get great looks and performance with suspension mods like springs/shocks and a nice set of wheels. My Z handles amazing with my mods and has a mean look with it's lower stance and wider wheels/tires. It's a blast when i can pass the 'modded' hondas on an on/off-ramp!

You'll get more enjoyment from the suspension mods.

I'm in the same boat you are, I was going for wheels, hood, spoiler, gfx, repaint. But I desided on full BMR suspension, and maybe just a hood heh.

Definatly go with performance over looks, I agree with bastardcat.

Have you factored in the extra money involved in preping the hood and getting it painted. I probably 600 in mine but i got my hood for only 300 so that is 300 in paint and prep. I love the hood cause a plain Z looks alittle boring and it separates me from the rest. I would probably go hood though.

Has anyone seen this hood on a 93-97 camaro? I was thinking about getting it as well, but have yet to see a picture. If your car is handling that bad i would go with the suspension.
