Tach help...

What sensors control the tach? Mine is not working, and the cluster itself is not the problem, the tach is not reiciving a signal...
Also, the trip odo is not working as well...I have never seen this problem before...

Thanks...

I believe the tach is read as such, please anyone correct if wrong.

Their should be a white wire going from your coil to the ECM. That is the tach wire. Pin # 13, in the red connector.

I would start by making sure that it is firmly plugged in on the computer end, and also make sure it has good contact on the coil and isnt corroded.

Good luck,

Thanks, that's what i needed. I kew that the signal comes from the opti, to the PCM, to the dash, but I didn't know which wire.
