I am doing a t56 swap on my 93Z and on the top of the column there is a the ignition switch that is connected to one of the cables going to the automatic shifter. What should I do about converting that over to work with the t56? I searched for hours on this site with no go wiring help. The rest of the install is easy minus the pedals

 

I just pulled the piece out (it's mechanical), and it works just fine.

The cable is not needed with the T56, so just pull it out of the ignition switch and forget about it. (like Alex said )
