Question T56 M6 rebuild...first time need help?

i will be rebuilding my friend's T56 M6 transmission for his 94 LT1 camaro and it will be my first time. i have helms shop manual for 94 camaro GMP/94F and i'm sure it will help but i thought asking before i do anyhting is better :

1- what tools are realy needed for complete rebuild?

2- how to be sure that i pressed bearings shims and such enough into the shafts so that no problem will happen? do i realy need a tool for that or my hand is enough?

3- do you have any hints, tips, tricks or some internet sites that can guide me for this rebuild?

thanks.

Abdulah,

I don't know myself, but I've been collecting info (so no relation):

http://para.noid.org/~lj/T56/T56.htm
http://www.drivetrain.com/borgwarner_T56.html
http://fastblackcar.com/camaro/trans/trans.htm
http://lists.f-body.org/pipermail/bl...ch/002361.html
http://www.ddperformance.com/GM%20T56.htm

Start with the stuff above, you may find someone that way to help you.
