t56 longevity

i just read the post about higher milage lt1's...and it seemed like quite a few tranny swaps were done...are these all auto swaps?...how well to the t-56's hold up on high milage/high power?...i used to own a third gen, when the 700r4 went out, i put in a t-5...dont really want to do that again

T56's last for a while, its probably the autos you were reading about. I know a couple cars that have T56's with 600+rwhp with no problems...
