sorry to jack this thread a little, but I'm sure I'm not the only one to practically pee himself when you said that Where did you get a clutch for that price?!?

Here is what he said to me;

>Matt, these kits are rated at 360 hp from LUK, and are basically an OEM upgrade for a little more holding power than stock. They are good for bolt on cars only.
The clutch has held up OK in my car (probably ~15000 miles on it these days), but then my car is a thousand pounds more hefty than most of yours. If you do go this route, I would suggest taking it very easy for the first 500 miles; I did not and my clutch never did grab as hard as I thought it should. There is still no slippage unless I powershift, but then I had visions of scrathing fourth when I did this swap. Now I am rambling.

I have had both A4, and M6. The M6 is definately much more fun of the street where I drive 95% of the time. I thought I could drive well, and when the M6 firebird was stock, I ran a 13.7 @ 104, and backed that up with a few 13.8's, and another 13.7. If you can drive a stick well, you will run just as quick as an auto, maybe a little better. If you go to the track once a month, go with the M6. If you go every weekend, and bracket race, stick with the auto, and prepare for a HD rebuild shortly after
