When I turn my parking lights on my headlights flip up with them. Does anyone know why they do this. Both of my fog lights dont work, could that have anything to do with it?

Oh, and no offense but I think I'd try the free headlight fix before replacing the gears. but I'm cheap like that.

 

Definately do the free headlight gear mod, it worked for me. As far as the fog lamps not working, I have a Z28 and T/A and both the fog lamp bulbs seem to blow at the same time or within days of each other, you may just have both fog lamp bulbs burnt out.

 

I ordered the metal gears the other day, but is that what is causing the headlights to pop up when the parking lights are turned on?

 

When I replaced the gears in my headlight motors, when I first reinstalled them, the lights did as you describe came up when only the parking lights were on, but after turning them on and off a time or two, they stopped doing that.

 

Well I put the fog light bulbs in and that didnt fix it, Ill see what happens when I rebuild the headlight motor.
