T/A cover and stud kit worth it???

I posted this exact thread in drivetrain tech am also posting here as LT1 tech is used more often.

This spring I will have a set of motive 4.10 gears installed. I'm thinking that at the same time it might be worth it to install a T/A rearend girdle and stud kit. I haven't taken my car to the track nor do I intend to very often. It will remain on "street" tires at all times, probably firestone firehawks.

So my question is, should I bother spending $180 on a rearend girdle and stud kit or should I save my money? My goal for the car in the near future is 300RWHP and by the way it's a M6.

Thanks

I dont think its a bad idea.. I just swapped in a 3.73 rear and I got a used t/a girlde with stud kit and will be installing soon. Easy fluid changes with it plus a lilttle added support
