Question T-5 tranny rebuild?????????

I would like to keep my T-5 in my 92Z, but with the power i plan on making i am going to need to get a rebuild........with a strong rebuild will this tranny still have problems???? The 6th gear issue with the T-56 means nothing to me cause this is going to be a trailer queen. What is the main difference in these 2 tranny's that makes the T-56 so much stronger....is it things that could be done to my T-5? Any info is appreciated..........

This site may help, they have a FAQ page: D&D Performance.

BTW, This is where I got my parts from when I rebuilt my T-56.

dude seriously... T5... T5 and Serious Power don't belong in the same sentence.. let alone the same dictionary... If you are planning on trailer queening your car and must keep a manual then go with a Tremec 3550 or T56 it. Get the hell away from that T5 crap. If you want to man up and go fast.. TH 350/TH 400/Powerglide and a Huge Stall....
