Switching from 1.6 Magnum Roller tips to full roller rockers

Switching from 1.6 Magnum Roller tips to full roller rockers
So, while I'm building my fully forged bottom end and upping the compression, I'm thinking of other ways to increase power.
What kind of benefit would I see from swapping out my 1.6 Magnum roller tip rockers to a set of 1.6 FULL roller rockers?
Looking to add another 20-30rwhp through the addition of a cutout, increased compression, ewp and possibly full roller rockers.
Would anyone have any back to back dynos?

Most of the benefit of roller rockers come from the roller trunion-not the tip. I would say whatever data you find for adding full roller rockers would be close to what your results would be.

You might see a few hp from less friction and closer precision, and less heat buildup in there is also a benefit. You need some studs with the machined ends or have yours machined flat so that your posilocks bear evenly when you tighten the set screws.

Interesting, I thought it was the other way around but I have nothing to support that.

If so, you would think the roller tipped rockers would be wildly popular and there would be less market for full rollers. Just judging by the size comparison for potential friction, I'd say you have a lot more to gain by making the trunion area move more easily than just the tip of the rocker.

How about the fact OEMs went to roller fulcrums, they did it for a reason, that was the spot to free up some friction. If the tip had had more friction the would have done a roller there.

Freshening up a completely stock 113,000 mile bottom end and upping the compression from 10.4-1 to 11.5-1, adding an EWP and full roller rockers on top of that. Just the bump in compression should get me the majority of the way to my goal. I can probably see 6-7rwhp from the EWP. No reason all of the changes I listed can't net me between 20-30rwhp.
