switch panel wiring
switch panel wiring
I have a fan switch using this well known method . I also have an EWP, and I am thinking of addding nitrous.
I am fabbing up a switch panel, and I bought 3 regular 2 connector ON - OFF automotive switches.
1. Fan wiring: I want to know if I wire up the blue wire from the connector to one side of the switch with 2 resistors inline in parallel, and the other to ground, will I get a single fan ON high speed when the switch is made, and regular PCM fan operation?
2. Water pump wiring: I have my EWP wired up thru a relay with the fuel injector signal switching the relay. I want to add a switch like above so I can turn it on with the key out of the ignition. If I use
this as a guide, can I simply add the switch and use a +12V hot all the time connection to control the same relay when the ignition is OFF? Any ill effects if I turn the ign to ON, and the switch is in the ON position also?
THANKS
