Swarbar Removed....(RESULTS INSIDE)
I must say that this was well worth my time, as well I took off the BMR Strut Tower Brace at the same time. I think I might sell it!?!
Well, With the swaybar and STB removed my car totaly feel faster off the line, I can literally feel the difference in wieght without them. I would never have imagined to be able to feel a difference. Well, their is.
Since I have removed them the car's front end has a bit more of a lift during acceleration and feels awsome. No words to describe it, just a better feeling and most definatly I will show gains with my next timeslip to give you all numbers.
I was messing around on turns and with the handling and it is not really that big of a difference. The front suspension feels a bit more loose. Making turns the car is not as stiff but it doesnt matter because it doesn't interfere with driving, it still handles the same with the acception of the "loose" feeling.

Sounds liek a plan for this weekend, is there any downsides other then sloppy handeling a bit, last thing i need is to mess something up

"results inside" typically means you have a timeslip to prove it helped you. Nobody cares what your *** dyno thinks

There may be some value to removing the bar at the strip, but I would not take it off a daily driver. MHO.
I just removed my sway bar for the first time recently along with my BMR stb and dropped .10 off my 60' times. It's a great mod for the track but I will definitely be reinstalling the sway bar for the street. The handling is very sloppy without it.
Sway bar removal, excellent for the strip but maybe not so for a daily driver as others have said. Regular turns are ok even on ramps are ok. But try this. Pretend your about to get in a accident turn the wheel hard one way and then turn it the other real fast, the car will lean and not react as quick and might even overstteer. (front end plows) Its a little scary, now I hope none of us ever gets into an accident but for the tenth it might give me I'll just keep it on and up the juice lol .

and i removed the brackets too.
