Swapping parts from OBD1 94 LT1 to OBD2 96 LT1?
My little brother is selling his car and we are wanting to swap out all of his performance parts onto my car. So basically we would be swapping over stock LT1 heads, stock cam, stock valvetrain, stock timing chain, stock water pump, stock exhaust and stock tranny/stall.
Now obviously the heads and stall/tranny will go over without a hitch. My main concern is his cam (for a 96 OBD2) going into my car (OBD1 94) and vice versa my stock cam going in his car. Will this work?
How much of a PITA are we talking about here? Swapping everything. he is just giving me the parts, because he wants his car back to stock to trade it in.
Is the top end on our cars hard to swap parts?
How hard is it to swap trannies/stalls?
Thanks guys and sorry for the long post

I also wanted to let everyone know that we have done longtube installs, opti installs, and most other "smaller" stuff. We just haven't done anything internal.
But I was looking at Shoebox's site and this definately looks doable.

He is giving me his heads/cam/hooker longtubes, offroad ypipe, electric H20 pump, vented opti, fully built a4, 2500 stall and full valvetrain components.
but now we are thinking about just pulling my engine/tranny and swapping it straight out.

It would be so much faster and easiee just to swap the whole drivetrain in one peice. K-member is 6 bolts, tranny cross member is 4, then various lines and crap and the whole drivetrain falls out the bottom, roll the new one in and bolt it together. Definatly do it that way.
