Swaping my engine over to a new short block

well in the next few month i will be buying a new short block. I wanted to know how much work is involved after i drop my engine to switch all the parts over to the new block. Also what additional exspense i should budget for.
I know i will at least need new gaskets (i can probley get them all in a package) new head bolts. What else!

Its fairly straight forward after the motor's out and off the car.. just follow sequences and tq spec's on the head bolt's and what not and you should be on your way..

nope if your using all your stock stuff i dont see what else you would really need other than fluids, gasket's, and stuff...

A new shortblock should come with a timing set installed. Some do't come with oil pump so whoever you are buying it from it may be worth your time to ask and plan now rather than getting stuck cause you dont have parts or money. I have been there before and it sucks.
