A question for you guys who run these injectors. I quess you can not run the factory type clips on these 30 lbs injectors. I put them in but the bottom O ring does not go down in the manifold that far.Question is ,do they seal good enough ? or what do you guys do ? thanks for your help.

 

IVe got ford 36ers and they work fine with the factory style clips. Its ok they will seal fine.

 

were did you get the 36ers from? I have been looking.

I left the clips off and just centered the injectors the best I could. Worked fine for 3 years so far.

 

i used the clips and the o rings went down fine with a dab of grease, you shoulnt be able to see the o rings or you will soon see gas. (i found that out before i used the grease to help get them in)

 

Mine worked fine with clips, too. If they are not seating, then you are not applying enough pressure. They should set properly. A dab of grease as rcmtby11 mentioned or slight tapping with rubber mallet should get the job done.

 

Except for that time you had fuel spraying all over your motor. No really they'll be fine. i think the fuel pressure will force the injector down into the intake and make the seal. Mine are fine but the clips wouldn't work with them.

 

I used the clips with mine. They didn't go down into the manifold as far as the stock injectors but they seal just fine.
