Whats a good suspension kit that won't lower my car much and still give me improved handling?

Probably nothing past an Eibach Pro-Kit...but you have to decide whether or not the SLP 1" drop will be enough for you...plus the Bilsteins offered by SLP are not the heavy duties...which may not matter with your application...

good point
I like the look of my SS with them, little bit lower hten a Z, but not enough that I can still get up driveways and everything without problem, and the handling is WAY better then the Z,
and for shocks, well that depends on what you want to do.
the HD in front and the Koni SA in the rear would be nice if you want corners and a bit of 1/4 mile too.
