How are you guys doing?
I am looking to replace my shocks/springs. I was wondering what you guys recommend. Should I just replace with like a set of AC Delco? Monroe? or spend the money on the Bilstein package?
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you are going to spend the money on Bilsteins, go ahead and order KYB AGX adjustables. I am putting these on my 94 now but I can,t tell you how well they work yet.
They are 8 way adjustable and the adjustment can be done with the shocks on the car. At about 100 bucks a shock I think these are a much better alternative to Koni adjustables at like 350 a shock.

when it comes to basic shocks (ie non-adj) just pony up and get the bilsteins. they are a great shock and are not that unreasonably priced compared to koni or the Hal's.
as for springs, you have some choices to make. do you want stock ride height? if so you'll probably want to look into the stiffer 1le spings.
if you want a small drop, you could go with DMS 1" drop springs.
eibach and hotchis and most other springs drop about 1.25-1.75"
the eibach sportlines are the biggest drop i think with about 2-2.25"

Hi Steve,
I had the Eibach pro-kit springs and the Bilstein shocks put on this spring along with new poly bushings everywhere. I love the feel and I wish that the roads here had more curves. I also have taken this car to the dragstrip and had good luck launching. Because I lowered the car I stayed away from longtube headers though and there are some other trade-offs.
