Supercharger whine

Supercharger whine

What makes my car sound like it has a supercharger on it sometimes when im at WOT in the upper RPM's?



And I DO NOT have a supercharger on my car

Nice z bro dont mean to change the subject of the thread but if u dont mind me asking where did u get those silver z06's from they look sick . ive been having a hard time finding them

Aftermarket intakes will add a decent amount of noise. My car used to have a slight high pitched whine to it before, but I cannot hear it anymore over the exhaust.

Thanks for the replies guys and I kind of figured that it was just my intake being noisy, just wanted to make sure.


Thanks for the comments about the car, but shes a 10 footer. Looks pretty good from far away, but up close you can tell shes seen better days. I got the Z06's off of eBay. OE Wheels i believe. They are argent silver and are 17x9 front and 18x10.5 rear.

At least yours is a 10 footer, mine's about a 25-30 footer for now. I also got my Z-06's from OE wheels on eBay.

Mine does it too, I have the Lingenfelter CAI. I just really noticed it the other day.
