Super ram on Lt1

Saw a pic in a book that showed a super ram on an lt1, or supposedly an lt1, Just wondering if it would work or if it was a misprint... please only respond if you are sure... Thanks!

Accel/Lingenfelter made the Super Ram manifold for the LT1 up until about a couple years ago. I guess they quit making them for the LT1 guys due to lack of demand. I tell you what though, if they still made 'em, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. It's rare, but you might be able to find one used on this board, ebay, or somewhere else.

The superram for the LT1 had a few problems and that, along w/ lack of demand is why they quit making them. From the original superram design, because of the low cowl clearance, they had to take out like an inch of height, which made the radius of the runners different...tighter. Because of the longer runners it gave the LT1 significantly more mid-range power, and even a little on the top end; but once you started doing modifications the pinched radius reared its ugly head and it wouldn't produce as much top end as the stock intake. As I understand the supercharged crowd really like it because the shape of the runner didn't matter as much with the forced induction, but all-in-all it was another failed aftermarket intake due to the windshield cowl restraint.
