Do you have your fans programmed for the 160* thermostat? I have a 160* stat and have the fans programmed and my car runs around 185* most of the time. Hope u get it figured out.

I would agree with 97bowtie. As long as you're retaining coolant and your fans do come on, then yes I would get the parts listed. But if the fans aren't comming on, then either get a manual switch(I have one and solved my problem completely) or have it programmed. Mine use to get hot ALL the time to the point I would think, in traffic, I would have to pull over and let it cool. You may also try getting the coolant system flushed and refilled. I also did that and helped a ton. That's my .02

When I first got to FT Irwin(it is just below Death Valley) I put in a Griffin radiator, it has never came close to getting hot again. The highest it has gone was 1/8 below the 1/2 way mark. If you get a griffin I can tell you that you will not have to look at you temp gauge and worry in traffic again. I have also made many stop and go trips to LA in rush hour traiffic and not issues.
