Quick history of my car, started as a V6 auto, did an LT1 swap along with a T56 swap. During the swap I also got a rearend positive traction with what I believe is 2.73 gears. My mods are:
Hotcam Kit (lifters, rockers, valve springs, cam)
SLP CAI
MAC Headers
Home ported heads
Full exhaust
Tune by PCM4Less

Which brings me to this, what should my next mod be? I will be replacing my pressure plate and clutch with the SLP pp and clutch next week, along with replacing the slave and master cylinder to be safe (I bought the tranny used). So anyway I was thinkin my next mod should and would have to be gears, then I'm gonna go the way of nitrous. This car is a daily driver. I was thinkin 3.73 gears but my problem with that is the carrier, I have no idea what carrier I have and where I would get a series 3 carrier? Can anyone help me or suggest another mod? How do I find out what carrier I have? Also on a side note I live quite a distance from a track, what woudl be a good estimate of times? Thanks! HELP ME!

 

Figure out what the gears are in the rear end you have. If you have 2.73s, then I can imagine that your car bogs some off the line. I would change the gears to 4.10 with a six-speed. I did and love it, even with 380 rwhp. I thought it might be a !traction mod, but good tires really help it hook.
