Which Sub Frame Connectors?
Which Sub Frame Connectors?
I want the best performance for turning/traction...
I was thinking BMR Boxed ones that you weld? The ones Taner uses... L0L
I am going to drive this thing everyday mind you, but I hate body roll and I want to take turns doing 130

Re: Which Sub Frame Connectors?
I also have the BMR boxed subframes, the BMR LCA's and the BMR STB,
But trust me I wont be taking corners at 130
Good pieces, but when you get them welded, MAKE SURE they put wet rags around the fuel lines. Watching your car catch on fire and having to replace the fuel line IS NOT FUN.
Ask me how I know. (idiot welders)

Re: Which Sub Frame Connectors?
Any SFC will do the job. I love the difference it made in my car. My buddy who installed them on my car has installed many on other peoples fbodys. And he said out of all of them he has seen, the SLP SFC's in his opinion were the best setup for the money.

Re: Which Sub Frame Connectors?
Any weld in's will do the job. Don't expect it to effect body roll at all though, and it's not going to help your cornering like you think. For roll resistance, you need either a large front swaybar, or stiffer springs, or both.
I have a solid 35mm front swaybar, and it makes a HUGE difference in body roll, and the ability to take corners faster. I also have weld in tubular subframe connectors, and they only stiffen the chassis to keep the structural integrity of the car stiffer. They don't make a HUGE difference in cornering capability like the swaybars or springs/shocks will.

i think the best for the money is boxed bmrs, i have heard the slp ones arent that great for the price, and i heard the kenny browns are also overpriced. but i have never personally used the slp or kenny browns. i like my boxed bmrs
Re: Which Sub Frame Connectors?
Anyone know how much the KB doubly diamonds weigh and how much the boxed BMR's weigh? (Kennys site is down)
The car will be mostly a straight line car, just wanting to stiffen it up but not add tons of weight.

Re: Which Sub Frame Connectors?
i had wolfe racecraft install their weld ins on my car. Dan@ wolfe did a great job. www.wolferacecraft.com
