Hehe and no one gave you a answer. Hmm I'm not sure whether or not the comps used in v6's are the same as what is used in the LT1's but I'm pretty darn sure that the prom would have to be flashed for a LT1. If I'm wrong I'm sure somebody will chime in...

I think there's a bin file you have to change inside the computer. I'm not sure if any of the V6 computers can be adapted to an LT1. The only one that I would even consider adapting to the LT1 would be the computer from the Syclone/Tyhpoon simply because those computers can read a 1 and 2 bar map sensor.

oh well it was worth a shot....

i ran my car into a ditch and bent the frame (totalled)
so basically i picked up a toasted 6 banger with a straight frame and was hoping i could get away with just and engine/drivetrain swap... but apparently i get to do all of the electronics...

unless someone else knows something i don't

i am jsut trying to find and easy way to do this. I am extreamly lazy

That's going to be alot of swapping. You're going to have to convert the A4 to a M6, plus yank the harness/engine/tranny from the old car and install them in the new car after you yank everything from it. Royal PITA. Why not just part out the car and find another Z28 or something?

You'll need the wiring harness and computer from whatever engine you want to use.
