Question Stupid question about slave cylinder...

Sorry I don't know much about transmissions. Is the slave cylinder inside or outside of our transmissions? I just called to get a quote on a clutch install and they mentioned that if it was inside I might want to go ahead and replace it so I wouldn't have to tear the trans out again to put one in later. Any input? This is on a T-56 with 80K miles.

Thanks guys

Bryan

Its outside the transmission. No need to replace.

It's on the outside, and can be replaced without removing the tranny.
