stupid car won't let me win and not racing

Ok about 6 mon. ago I forgot to latch the hood, to make short I got on the freeway. No more Hood. Finally I got my body work done and a new hood with all new hardware, hinges, striker plate, etc... I finally get my car back yesterday and drive for about 10 mins. I love my car, but she don't love back. Went on straight away out of a 55 degree bank turn and the hood does and yoga and comes back and slap the glass, it breaks. Now i need a new hood again and hinges and all the other related crap. I there some thing i'm doing wroung or is my car just cursed. ???

Do you reinstall the 2nd hood yourself? If you had a shop do it I would take it straight to them.

Sorry to hear your troubles I hope things will get better

I'd take it back to whoever did the re-install. Unless it was you, then---better luck next time. For the third install, I'd install those NASCAR style pins to avoid running into the same problem again.

Something is out of whack for the hood to come unlatched and safety latch not to catch! Was the car ever wrecked? Was the hood latch replaced, if it did it once, its probally going to do it again. This time when fixed get a new hood latch and make sure the safety catch actually catches when the hood is popped.
