Stupid autozone brakes

Last night, i noticed my rear brakes were grinding. Its only on the drivers side rear brake. IM pretty sure i bought new breakpads from autozone last spring.

Also, i think its only the outside brake on the driverside. And i can hear it grinding when i take off. Could it be my caliptor isn't letting go of the brake? I dont think i've changed snice i've own the car, and more then likely they are the stock ones....which makes them 11 years old now.Should i change them? and what are some good breakpads? Keep in mind i dont have much money.

BTW. My brakes skipped the squeaking the stage. I think the inidator break off.

Sucks when your brakes break, doesn't it?

Brakes are suppose to brake, not break, now they dont brake and are broke.

Whatever the problem, don't let it ruin the roors/discs. Then you'd really be talking $$.
Tough BREAK!

I don't think Autozone parts are the problem. After 11 years, it's way past time for a caliper replacement. It probably stopped sliding. Get rebuilts for both sides. Your cores are good for a trade in.

I like Performance Friction Carbon-Metallic pads, but if you want stock type, the calipers may come "loaded" with pads. Yours may still be under a replacement warranty. Check it out.

"Broken brakes" are a bummer.

You could always break down and take it to a mechanic. Unless of course, you are broke.

Well, i changed either the front or back pads last fall. Then did the other set in the spring. So they both have been done in the last year.

People, I realize i can't spell.....no need to consently point it out. I miss Trey, at least when he was around people left MY spelling alone.
