wel ok i was just going to my friends house when all the sudden i go to press the brakes to a stop sign and then my car starts dieing....well after i take off and get the car back up to normal amplage all the sudden my INOP ABS light or w/e comes on along with my brake light? well i make it home saftely and when i pull in the drive way i let me car idle and my speedometer needle starts creeepiong up to around 60 mph and all my guages start acting up, well turn my car off and the thing is complelty DEAD, turn the ignition on and nothing, no light no nothing!!!
what happen to my car?
dead battery/alternator?

ok well figured out that i left my hazards lights on and went back outside and they were on so i was like hmm.......so i start my car and it starts then i turn it off again and it immedialty DIES........what the hell is woring with my car?

sounds like a bad ground or connection to the battery.

 

well i had the car since december and ive never had this problem.......and i need to get an inspection tom morning....i really hope my alternator is dead, what do you guys think? my dash lights or n e thing wont even turn on now when i click the ignition on? do you think it s my ignition thingy that sits on top of the steering wheel?

you think its my iginiton switch? if so i have a new one that i just put on my other Z28 i can take off and out on this one?

okay i had something similar happen to my car. abs inop light came on, and when i'd mess with my a/c control, my speedo would jump to like 60mph and my rpms would drop even though she was not moving. anyway, i found 1 of my battery terminals was corroded, i cleaned it up as well as the grounds in the engine bay, and i havent had it happen again.

 

the battery terminals arew the 2 wires that connect to the battery right? and where can i find all the grounds at? and how long did it take you?
