Re: stupid f'n wires!

I saved myself the trouble and ordered the premade otvc set from elitesparkplugs.com I think I paid only 65.00 for a set and the quality and fitment are perfect.

Elite Spark Plugs

Mine were 85$ but I got their high temp ones. For the record, they look mean under there, 9mm bright red wires lol. It makes it look like it should be fast hahah ...

Re: stupid f'n wires!

You must somehow have tension on those wires causing them to pop off. I have the Taylor OVC set, and the boots are on there really snug. I've never had a boot pop off the plug or opti.

Re: stupid f'n wires!

I've had my Taylors in the OVC configuration for over a year with no issues. For the first time since 1995 I haven't had burned wires because of my headers...Elite wasn't doing custom fit OVC wires then, I dont think...or I probably would've used them....

Re: stupid f'n wires!

I have had MSD superconductors on for about 27k now and they are by far the best wires I have ever had. I bought a premade stock set and did my own custom routing job mixing and matching wire lengths as needed and I did not route them OTVC.

I have Hooker LTs and have never burnt a wire.
I agree that you must have the wires too short and they are pulling, my guess is its the passenger side thats giving you trouble, correct?
