stumble after seafoam
so i put seafoam in my oil gas and brake booster and now i have a stumble at 800-1200 rpm i know what your thinkin o2 sensors or plugs but ive replaced both what else would make it stumble any ideas are helpful thanks
Re: stumble after seafoam
i just did the same and was told not to put into oil even though its recommended, now i had a stumble before i sefoam and now its clear no stumbles at all,i suggest you change your oil and and repeat the seafoam and go from there.hope this helps
Re: stumble after seafoam
If it were due to a fuel filter, the problem would get worse as engine load rises. He only indicated the problem was within a narrow rpm band.
In that range, it is due to EGR problems. Do you still have an EGR? If so disconnect it and plug the vac line and try it again.
If it still persists, pull up the fuel rail and have someone crank it over while you observe each injector spray pattern. Chances are good if you haven't been cleaning the fuel system regularly, the seafoam washed the gunk to the end of the line. The fuel rails.
