not lt1 related but...

My passenger side door lock is stuck, it will lock just fine but it wont unlock with the remote, with the driver's side controls, or even with the key from the outside. I have to reach over from the driver's side to do it. It really sucks when I'm on dates and can't open the door for the girl until I get in and reach over...kind of defeats the whole purpose of having a car that looks good haha.

Anyways anyone have any ideas because I don't even know where to start.

 

The right way to open a door for a girl is by doing it from the outside of the passenger door. (and NOT with a remote)

Maybe it broke on purpose....

Sorry, couldn't resist. I just dealt with door locks myself and they REALLY, REALLY suck to fix, especially when the problem is the wiring. So are you saying it locks/unlocks fine from the passenger side switch? It may be your driver side switch then...

 

Haha I know, but I can't open the door from the outside if I can't unlock it from the outside (even with the key I can't unlock it)! It only works by manually moving the lock lever with the finger, the unlcok button on the inside won't unlock it either (from the passenger OR driver side)

 

Can you hear the door lock motor when you try to unlock it? What about unlocking it from the outside with a key?
I think the best thing to do is take off the door panel and examine everything.

 

Yes I can hear the door lock motor trying but its stuck or something.
