i have just built my 383 and i put long tubes on it which have no place for o2 sensors ..plus the egr valve is left off ...on purpose and the smog stuff on the drivers front of engine is off no my problem is when it sets there idling it sounds fine but when i take it down the road it feels like and sounds like it sputtering is it possible that stuff will do that to it im gonna get the computer tuned by jeff creech but i wanna fix all thats possible before he gets it....any help is appreciated

 

You should have a spot on the inside part of the header (towards the motor) to screw in the 02 sensors right at the end of the headers. If they are not there then you are going to have to have them drilled and weld some 02 bungs in its place so you can put the sensors on! Sounds to me thats exactly why its sputtering because my car does the same when my 02s go bad.
