Well I onced talked to Johnny Hunkins about this(he's w/ popular hot rodding) his 93 formula w/ a mti 396 is his dail driver over his bolt on 94z due to the 396 getting alot better mileage. It seems the higher compression in the 396 helps extract better gas mileage.Go figure. With the aid of a 3200 stall and 373's my 94 is a pig on gas. Mostly city driving and some highway(lot of lights on the highways in nj) I pull 14-16

I try not to pay attention, but I would say about 20 highway and about 14 city. That is really just an estimate as I have never calculated it.
