"Stroker Guys" mass air & throttle body ?

My Combo:12.4 to 1 396CI,CC305,AFR Ported Heads, match ported plenum,1 5/8- 1 3/4 stepped headers through SLP 3 inch exhaust, currently running 52mm TB & unported LT1 mass air,do u think the combo is being held back with 52 TB & Stock unported mass air? can u recommend someone to port the stock mass air?
thx for any input

The stock mass airflow sensor is not a restriction. Porting it will just ruin it's calibration/accuracy.

I would personally use a 58mm throttle body with your setup, but I've never done any back to back dyno tests to prove it's worth.

Dont touch your mass air flow sensor. A larger throttlebody may or maynot help.

I don't think that, the TB/MAF are hurtin' as much as the CC cam that your using..You have the extra CI, and a set of awesome heads, but your "cam" isn't there to support it...I don't mean to sound like a dick, but its just my .02

I heard it's a pain to tune correctly with a larger MAF. I am using my stock which seems to be fine. However; I would recommend a 58mm throttle body. If you are going to get one go with the Holley they look the best and fit nicely. I heard some problems with others. Also, I did have a problem with my TPS sensor. It was kicking an over voltage to the sensor because it wasn't positioned exactly where it should have been. The mounting hole needed to be elongated and the problem was fixed.

Good call, I didn't notice the cam.

Cam needs to be much bigger to run that kind of compression on pump gas. (Even then you will be on the edge)

You're sure it's 12.4-1? What CC are the heads combustion chambers? What pistons and head gaskets?
